About Dr. Hammouri's background

Dr. Hammouri is a Chief Orthopaedic Resident and a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Hammouri is finishing up a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital. He has been accepted into a Spine Surgery fellowship at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York beginning August of 2010.

Dr. Hammouri would like to pursue a career in spine surgery with a focus on the pediatric population. He is interested in working with surgical capacity building in developing countries.
