Port City Orthopaedics was founded and opened by Dr. Derrick G. Hickey in 2006. We are a specialty orthopaedic surgical practice focusing on treatment of the hand, elbow and shoulder. Dr. Hickey is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He has advanced fellowship training in Hand, Elbow, and Shouder surgery, as well as advanced arthroscopic and microsurgical techniques. Dr. Hickey did his fellowship training at Wakeforest Baptist Medical Center and his orthopaedic residency at NYU Medical Center Hospital for Joint Diseases. He is a high honors graduate of University of California Medical School and Yale University.

Our practice is a patient-focused care medical office. We believe that the best way to do this is to have as few barriers as possible affecting the doctor patient relationship. Each of your office visits will be with your physician.
