My approach to treating patients

The goal of my practice is to carefully listen to and evaluate my patients and then to prescribe a treatment protocol that will alleviate pain or eliminate a functional disability that interferes with my patients' daily living. Through my medical and surgical care, I hope to assist my patients to return to an active lifestyle. I offer a conservative approach based upon a careful assessment of patients' histories and physicals. I utilize the most modern testing and surgical interventions available. I keep abreast of the current trends in medicine and orthopaedic surgery and have accumulated over 700 hours of continuing medical education. Not only do I have a strong background in Trauma care(former assistant professor/Univ of Miami & Indiana Univ) and IU Director of Sports Medicine Div, but I also earned a Hand Microsurgery certificate from the Univ.of Miami. I currently have the honor of serving my second consecutive term as Chairman of Holmes Regional Medical Center's Orthopaedic Surgery Department, and am an adjunct clinical professor with University of Florida (Jacksonville) trauma service at HRMC.
