Private orthopaedic and trauma referrals can be made to my by fax, phone or e-mail to my listed contact addresses: Mr Oliver's Private Orthopaedic and Trauma Practice is at Edinburgh Hand Surgery Clinic, Murrayfield Hospital, 122 Corstophine Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UD Scotland. Phone 0131-334 0363 for appointments. Unsolicited E-mail asking for medical advice, surgical or physician referrals and/or sources of medical information will not be answered.

1) Private medical care is offered for people who are insured or who are self-funding. The Murrayfield offers inclusive care (fixed price) arrangements for those who wish to have surgery and are not otherwise insured. 2) Private patients should be aware that they are personally liable for all private fees for outpatient and surgery treatments. If there is an excess or shortfall from insurance provider payments this will be charged directly to the patient. It is the patient's responsibility to ensure all private bills are paid and it must not be assumed that insurers will cover all patient bills. 3) It is essential to check your insurance cover with your insurance provider to ensure you are covered for private outpatient visits and any operative procedures. Some insurers issue a separate pre-authorisation number for each visit and will not pay any fees which are not agreed in advance. 4) Credit card details taken in outpatients by the Murrayfield for outpatient visits are now linked to payments made to Mr Oliver. Credit card details are not linked to payments for inpatient surgery. 5)The charges made for consultations are representative of Mr Oliver's clinical experience and private practice business running costs. 6) All fees to be settled 28 days for private patients. 7) If you have any confusion about billing for private consultations please contact my private patient office as soon as possible.
