My approach to treating patients
As an experienced physician with more than 16 years of specialization in orthopaedics, I take a highly personal approach to caring for my patients. I believe that knowledgeable patients make the best decisions about their own treatment. That's why I explain every step of the diagnostic process. Next, I want my patients to understand their condition: How it developed and how various treatment approaches can improve or repair the problem. When we consider treatment alternatives, I present a realistic outlook on the results we can achieve. I'll also be frank about any risks that might be involved. If a non-surgical option is available, I'll explain that avenue in depth. My practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of hip and knee disorders including total joint replacement surgery. I have a particular interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery and have performed over 800 Computer-Assisted, Less-Invasive Total Knee Replacements and over 500 Less-Invasive Anterior Approach Hip Replacements.

I am pleased to introduce you to the highly trained and experienced treatment team that makes everything possible. Debbie Stair, my medical assistant, coordinates my clinical and surgical activities. She is always ready with a smile to get help and answers for you. Nick Evangelista PA-C, my physican's assistant, is with me in surgery and the clinic. Amy Ruiz, my surgical assistants facilitates the flow of my surgeries and clinics. She helps me help you in a smoother, safer and swifter fashion.
