My approach to treating patients

I established Texas Institute of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine (TiOS) to provide a high level of orthopedic care in my community. I am a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and an arthroscopy and sports medicine expert. I have received fellowship training in sports medicine as well as foot and ankle and I sub-specialize in treatment of athletic injuries and complex disorders of the shoulder and knee including arthroscopic surgery. In addition, my practice includes adult and pediatric general orthopedics.

I have vast experience in the care of the high level athlete at both the professional and amateur level including: NFL Football-San Francisco 49ers (1999- to 2006), XFL Football-San Francisco Demons, The X-games at San Francisco, San Jose Ballet, Stanford University and Santa Clara University athletics and several NCAA Division-I tournaments including Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball. I am an avid athlete and my experience and love for sports continues to be the driving force in supporting all my patients achieve and or exceed their goals.

I believe in meeting patients' individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. I combine leading edge techniques with proven traditional methods to provide our patients with the best orthopaedic care possible. It is also highly important to me that our Doctor/Patient relationship is open and honest. It is my responsibility to make sure patients are well informed about their conditions and the multiple choices of treatment.
