My approach to treating patients

I believe that successful treatment requires a partnership between the patient and the physician. I look to educate my patients, encourage many questions and take the time to answer all questions about every aspect of their treatment. While some orthopedic injuries are best treated with surgery, many orthopedic problems can be solved with non-operative or minimally invasive measures. Whether you are a weekend warrior or an elite athlete, my goal is to provide you with the appropriate individualized treatment program that will allow you to return to a healthy active lifestyle.

We offer a convenient in-office, physician-directed physical therapy facility dedicated to providing high quality, progressive rehabilitation services. Our goal is to ensure that each patient achieves optimal functional improvement in the shortest possible time.

Early morning, late evening and Saturday appointments for physical therapy are available for your convenience. Dr. Raskin's office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We do our best to accommodate same day appointments.

We provide on-site, state-of-the-art, digital imaging technology (x-ray and ultrasound). Our offices are entirely digital offering faster, safer and more comprehensive digital radiography. Digital radiography uses lower doses of radiation compared to conventional x-ray and is more environmentally friendly because chemical processing is eliminated and viewing screens are used rather than film.

In addition to on-site diagnostic imaging and a state-of-the-art physical therapy department, including pilates, our complete range of clinical and therapeutic services includes Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) Studies.

Dr. Raskin conducts comprehensive Fit for Duty Evaluations directed toward determining the worker's ability to return to his/her job. Specific functional capabilities, e.g., lifting and other material handling techniques are tested based on job-specific needs.
